Alpha Transports is the delivery arm of our business. We provide last mile delivery, also known as final mile delivery or final mile logistics. Our delivery services will transport your goods from our warehouse or a designated warehouse or distribution center to their destination — typically, the customer's doorstep.

The last mile is the most important, but also the most time-consuming and expensive element in the shipping process. We understand the prime objective which is to get your goods to your customer as fast as possible. Our core competency is understanding our customer needs to provide a superior level of customer satisfaction to keep your customers coming back!

Drivers must be reliable, have excellent time management skills, be self-motivated, and be energetic. Delivery drivers will be expected to make 160+ stops per day and deliver 300+ packages within a 9-hour time frame.

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: On the Road

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work start time will be 10:50 AM
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Delivering a wide variety of packages
  • Conduct inspections of the vehicle prior to departing to deliver goods
  • Following delivery driving routes and time schedules
  • Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating the delivery vehicle
  • Complete inspection of vehicle after route have been completed

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be over 21 years old
  • Have a valid driver license
  • Consent to a criminal background check
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Have a clean driving record (1 point/ticket, no DUIs, and no suspensions)
  • Ability to lift, carry, and deliver 50lbs
  • Must be available to work weekends and have a flexible schedule for the business needs

Pay and Incentive:

  • Base pay rate is $19.25/hr
  • Bonus opportunity
